https://greenwald.substack.com/p/questions-about-the-fbis-role-in let’s discuss this rather than frame the discussion from the msnbc point of view… would any of my resident friends on the left take a stab at these? How is it remotely credible that the FBI did not have informants in these three groups that they have been identifying as major threats for years, especially given the reporting that the leader of the Proud Boys — conveniently arrested the day before January 6 — was an FBI informant in the past, along with the confirmed reporting that the FBI had multipleinformants in the Michigan Three Percenters case? Why are low-level protesters being charged with major crimes while the alleged organizers of this riot and the leaders of these groups have not been? Why are enormous amounts of video surveillance footage from January 6 still being concealed? What happened to the alleged planting of pipe bombs near the Capitol? Why did the FBI not take more aggressive action given the once-denied but now-confirmed fact that the social media platform Parler sent the FBI advanced warnings of specific plots to use violence at the Capitol?
Is this the peaceful event you call January 6???? These are texts from Republican congressmen to Mark Meadows.
Why discuss anything from a 3rd party contribution that could be fabricated? Let’s get direct to the point, from the top. Can’t be any BS if we start at the top, right? We now know what Trump Jr, Meadows, Hannitys and Inghrums text messages were. Now, I wonder what did they say later on January 6 and 7th? Were the messages consistent? Were they “massaged”? Never mind the Viking and where he got his costume or who did his makeup. That’s not really relevant unless you want to skirt the issue.
Why are you asking "the left" when Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI both then and now, is a trump appointee? Also, it's a bit incongruous that you want answers to those questions while also wanting to dismiss the bipartisan committee that's investigating such questions, don't you think? Now I'll ask YOU this: Why did Bill Barr resign before trump's term was up?
Mostly yes. Considering the large amount of people and the small amount of damage. This was, by definition, mostly peaceful.
Mark Meadows is in deep shit. His only strategy now is to hope Republicans win the midterms so they can dissolve the Jan 6 Committee. Or to ask for immunity in exchange for an orange traitor.
here is something from laura's show: https://www.newsweek.com/laura-ingraham-january-6-text-versus-what-said-fox-news-capitol-1659154 hannity seemed to "massage" the issue: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=3663787367038685. because i will be asked "how did he "massage" the issue...he failed to include the part where tRump stated the he loves them and that they are very special. or that it took about 3 hours for him to say anything.
Repairs to the Capitol cost over $30 million. I wonder if LSUpride would also categorize the Portland and Minneapolis riots as "peaceful"? Of course, I don't wonder about that at all.
