the headline is misleading, thse 6 laws are not what the jan 6th panel is even necessarily investigating, but the opinion of some people who are not involved about what they might be investigating. "Five legal experts told Insider about the federal laws the Justice Department could use to prosecute Trump" - article 5 legal experts? who? what do they know? which of these charges has the justice dept actually considered? it doesnt matter what some random jerkwads think. i have a degree that is technically in law (undergrad degree international politics and law) so i could say i am a law expert and i think he will skate and write a yahoo story about it. it doesnt matter what anyone thinks but the justice dept and they have not indicated any laws were broken or charges are coming. the justice dept is in a tough situation where the committee has nothing and wants to find some charges, but all the justice dept can do is say "we cant actually charge him, none of these charges are real, and its very very legal to say you won an election and question it and even push for recounts etc". the only real possibility i can even imagine is the clowns in georgia, being less professional than the feds and more happy to get their names in the paper, may try to get trump for looking for more votes, which trump will beat of course, because its also perfectly legal to ask people to find all the votes.
