You mean the capital police who were pummeled with American flags and beaten. I guess those who climbed the walls, breached the barricades and broke into congressional offices were invited too. What about those who called for hanging Pence and Pelosi, were they just tourists?
Come on man you used to be objective what happened?

Then why has no one been charged with insurrection or treason? Because there's no way to prove it, meaning while you imagine that was the intent, you can't really know.

Yep, some of them were so out of control they actually stayed inside the velvet ropes. AOC, meanwhile, lied about her whereabouts to gain the sympathy of the suckers among us. And what do you say about the thousands who called for violence against Trump for 4 years? Tourists, I guess.

I didn’t vote for trump the first time but did the 2nd… I’m moderate socially and (horrors) believe there should be a path to citizenship and DACA should be grandfathered coupled with stringent immigration policy

I believe we should subsidize those who are disabled fully

I believe we should subsidize housing for x years then the residence is paid for through public works coupled with educational or trade school for free so that the American dream of ownership becomes reality for far more than now

I also believe a steady diet of msnbc is bad for the brain as does fox et al

I also believe that America, (here being a microcosm) is so divided that red becomes green and dammit it’s so because I said so

I also believe trump did himself no favors or us on jan 6th, we can blame trump for the ga senate debacle and I will agree …

I will not agree that jan 6th was an insurrection because it just wasn’t…. But there were elements there that wanted it to be. the facts are this: there is video evidence of capitol police letting people in just as there is that of engagement.

there are elements of truth to both positions. The boogie man is in assigning blame…
simply for political purposes. Substitute the word trump for biden or obama in this scenario and imagine the headlines:

“Statesman Biden attempted one last time to bring Americans together under the patriotic banner and tradition of striving for justice” or some such drivel…

again, there’s tons of stuff to blame trump for and lots and lots he could have done better, but he’s not responsible for every ill in American history

may objectivity always reign, but damn some of the stuff I see here stretches mine

    consistency is a thing….

99.9%+ were peaceful protestors. Maybe there was a handful of troublemakers that were real Trumpers. Lots of FBI instigators mixed in to force the swamp narrative. You probably watched that hollywood propaganda piece. Jeez, wake up.

    Trump 2024.

You think he will run? I'm split on that. Part of me thinks he is brazen enough and would like the legal cover if elected. But the reality is that moderate Republicans won't support him, especially after the events of Jan 6th. He can't win with only the base conservative Republican vote. Who would want to be his running mate or serve in his administration for the opportunity to be thrown under the bus? Lots of them resigned after Jan 6th. I don't think his family wants it. He will be 78 years old. I think if he ran again and lost it would kill him. My father at 81 years old was a very strong Trump supporter. After the election, he was so upset that he didn't watch the news. He died a week later. He wasn't in the best of health, but I really think he was so upset about the election that it killed him.

You are putting far too much weight on this, as I've said previously, the fact that Winston is with proves that you are on a loser.
