Looks like the fact that trump lunged at the driver is common knowledge among the Secret Service, and has been circulating for over a year: Then-President Donald Trump angrily demanded to go to the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and berated his protective detail when he didn't get his way, according to two Secret Service sources who say they heard about the incident from multiple agents, including the driver of the presidential SUV where it occurred. "He had sort of lunged forward -- it was unclear from the conversations I had that he actually made physical contact, but he might have. I don't know," the source said. "Nobody said Trump assaulted him; they said he tried to lunge over the seat -- for what reason, nobody had any idea." https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/01/politics/secret-service-lunging-incident/index.html ALL OF WHICH IS NOW SUPPORTED BY VIDEO EVIDENCE.
NO. She said Ornato asked her "did you hear what happened in the Beast?" Hutchinson made no claim about what happened, where it happened, when it happened, how it happened, or why it happened. All she did was recount what Tony Ornato told her.
i see so her testimony is just hearsay then. understood. is it your contention that trump grabbed the steering wheel?
I have not changed my "story" even a tiny bit. YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO READ. Hutchinson said Ornato told her Bobby Engel asked trump to take his hands off the wheel. Yes, I trust her COMPLETELY that Tony Ornato told her that. That doesn't mean neither she nor I have an opinion on whether trump's hands were actually on the steering wheel or not. Also, this is probably not obvious to you because your brain is pea-sized... trump didn't necessarily have to have his hands on the wheel for Engel to have said that. Engel might have merely issued it as a restriction on where he thought trump was aiming.
I neither contend that trump grabbed the steering wheel, nor do I contend that he did NOT grab the steering wheel. I've covered this before. YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO READ..
i see so you dont have an opinion on how trump acted in this situation. what part of the things you neither agree or disagree that he did are improper?
i see. so to be clear, the statement is "Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel" and you think this could mean that trump didnt have his hands on the wheel at all and the guy was asking owing to his own insanity? does he ask random people to do random things? does he ask dave chappele to stop stealing his waterskis? ask sergei bubka to stop inventing new pokemon?
Oh, but I do have OPINIONS on how trump acted. I believe that he lunged forward several times in the SUV, SUPPORTED BY VIDEO EVIDENCE, attempting to grab the steering wheel, much as an angry child would.... that is, with very little chance of actually commandeering the vehicle. Bobby Engel told him to back off: "sir, take your hands off the steering wheel" because he saw that as trump's childish symbolic gesture to go where he wanted to go. Did trump actually grab the steering wheel? Maybe briefly, maybe not, but it doesn't matter, anyway, because that's the gesture he intended. The fact that trump was pissed off.... well, he confirmed that himself in an interview.
