It was BUSH, not Gore, who took the matter to the US Supreme Court when Gore was acting perfectly within his rights within Florida. No, Gore didn't behave "exactly like trump" because everything Gore asked for was legal under Florida law. And after the US Supreme Court STOLE the election from him Gore never "claimed he won". Other things they did not do: - Gather a mob in Washington that they knew ahead of time would be violent. - Encourage an armed mob to march upon the Capitol. - Stand by while the Capitol was breached and under attack, agreeing that the man in charge of certifying the electoral count should be hanged. - Compile a slate of alternate fake electors for the Vice President to certify instead of the duly elected ones. - Continue to claim after the certification that the election was illegal and unconstitutional.
