They did go home after his tweet around 6:00 pm. He waited hours while his closest supporters were asking, begging and arguing that he say something. You can’t….well you will deny he was commander in chief and had specific power over the local national guard and DID NOTHING
The central point of last night’s hearing was that Trump was told by his closest advisers that he lost in November. People like his daughter, son in law, attorney general on down the line told him to stop lying about the election. He knew/knows he lost. All of his lies after that were predicate to his attempted overturn of the results by threats against state election officials, attempts at getting fake electors, trying to get his allies in Congress to overturn the election and finally the coup attempt on January 6.

It's typical Democrat B.S. It's like the abortion debate ... pro-life argues rights of the baby, pro-choice argues rights of the woman. They are not the same thing. Democrats argue that the Trump lost the "election", and even his advisors said so. But the conduct of the election is what was in question, not the election itself. Two totally different things .. and just because one is true, does not negate the other.
