So Senator Josh Hawley condemn judge Jackson for being soft on pedephiles. Well he might have a skeleton in his closet. see below. In January 2021, the Kansas City Star published a guest column by Pam Hamilton, a former Hawley appointee who questioned his handling of human trafficking cases. "I was on Josh Hawley’s human trafficking task force," the headline of Hamilton's story read. "He sought TV cameras, not justice." One prosecution Hawley did handle as attorney general was a 2018 sexual abuse and domestic assault case against former Knox County Sheriff Robert Becker. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's probable cause statement, Becker was charged with violent sexual encounters against his former partner, who alleged he "choked" her with a shirt in one instance. Instead of bringing the case to trial, Hawley agreed to a plea deal in which Becker served no jail time and instead received two years of probation and resigned his office. "There is no place for law enforcement officers who abuse their power," Hawley said at the time. "As a result of today's plea, Mr. Becker can no longer serve in any law enforcement capacity. The Knox County community is safer as a result of today's action." So @shane0911 should Hawley resign because he’s soft on pedos?
Every time a child is molested is a tragedy. Unfortunately child molesters rarely are reformed so I think maximum sentences are required. So I feel worse for the children. As to @shane0911 i hope this is a lesson to learn. He likes to puff up his chest and make comments based on his prejudices. He also likes to act so holier than those he disagrees with. I don’t mind hoisting him on his own petard occasionally. He’s quick to do the same.
His comments are about the now, not the then. So again, do you care about being right or do you care about the kids of today?
No you fucking moron because if you read your own stupid post you would realize the case was a law enforcement officer that was accused of assaulting his law enforcement partner NOT a CHILD! Good grief you are stupid!
Fox is airing a show titled “Who is Zelenskyy” right now. after much thought, the only person I can think that could compare to Zelenskyy is Donald Trump. Like Zelenskyy, Trump would heroically lead the country against foreign invaders, it's almost blasphemous to compare anyone to the greatness of Donald though. Just ask Donald. if only it weren’t for those darn bone spurs that would undoubtably force him, against his will, to leave the country to get medical help. While out of the country, probably in Russia, Donald would still be hard at work for his people. by "his people", i mean he and his family. he would use his superb negotiating skills to end the war by surrendering the country to Putin and thus be obligated to accept payment for himself because, after all, he did end the bloodshed of those other people. 40% of the voting population would agree that he did what was best for the country and those 40% would insist on erecting monuments, not mere statues, celebrating him as an alll time great leader. of course, trump would insist that whatever is done to celebrate his greatness just wasn't enough and would blast the slight as a liberal conspiracy. So you see, he is like Zelenskyy, only in a different way.
Imagine it's 2016. trump has just won the presidential election. When the electors convene inside the Capitol to certify the election, Obama and Clinton give a speech in Washington to stop the steal, fight like hell, and urge the crowd to march to the Capitol. The crowd breaks in. People are killed. People are injured. Much damage to the building. Later, we find out that Obama and Clinton had been in communication with the leaders of that mob, who had sworn a duty to physically protect their cause, even fight a civil war if they had to. Obama and Clinton knew ahead of time how those militia would act, and then stood by for hours doing nothing from what they called "command central" as the Capitol was being stormed. A Republican Congress, wanting to get to the bottom of what happened, empowered by the Constitution itself to conduct oversight, demands documents and communications from that day, and the days preceding. Obama and Clinton refuse, so Congress takes the cause to the Supreme Court. There, the Court rules 8-1 that Obama and Clinton have no standing, can not claim executive privilege to conceal those communications. The lone dissenting justice is Stephen Breyer. Weeks later we find out that Breyer's wife had participated in all those communications, had conspired with Obama's chief of staff to overthrow the election, even calling it God's will that Democrats should not be removed from power. Imagine that.
