You are correct about this. Elections should be conducted at the state level. In 2020, many states enacted laws to help people with voter access and now Pride is out there attacking them for exercising their rights as a state to conduct elections how they see fit.

In this context evidence is the facts submitted in court to prove a complaint is valid. There have been multiple court cases in multiple jurisdictions under Republican and Democratic appointed judges and the evidence has been thrown out or deemed not material.
