That is why Texas Banned them. I've linked the Texas report as well that highlighted these issues well before the 2020 election. But sure, I am just making shit up huh..... Not all states are equal. https://www.sos.texas.gov/elections/forms/sysexam/oct2019-sneeringer.pdf Again, this report was BEFORE the election and BEFORE any of Trumps claims were made. Bullshit right?
They want to federalize it, take all the power from the states which is not the way the constitution is written. This is so they can hold onto power forever. Dirty bastards
So a recent report from the Atlantic (I believe) examined the recent changes in so called red states. It found that the changes DID NOT limit access or potential voting rights. That’s one fallacy the MSM has foisted on the public. Another is that they (MSM) ignore that the rules in red states are less restrictive and more liberal than those in the Northeast and other”progressive “ bastions.
There are reports (I’m not sure how trustworthy) that other changes in election laws will allow the state election boards’ work be overruled. If accurate and depending on exactly how it is done that is problematic.
Finally having a federal law trump state law is wrong and unconstitutional. It violates the 9th & 10th amendments at least and is just a power grab by the democrats. It violates the principle of local control that is the basis of all of the founding fathers intentions.
i live in texas. i know what texas is all about. abbott's bad enough. the lt gov and AG are just plain repulsive. and this is the AGs guy. still, if it had merit nobody would've been using these machines. i looked for a date stamp on that report. there was no date stamp i could see. one can put a date reviewed inside of any report. could've been made last week for all i know. find the website where there is a date stamp and i'll give it a little more consideration. none the less, texas used these machines, so what does that insinuate? garbage.
perhaps but Rand Paul and Trump's voters are the same folks so it wouldn't make sense for Paul to run if Trump does. That said, I don't think Trump can beat DeSantis nor Nikki Haley. In fact, I think he would lose to Liz Cheney too. Mike Pence....I don't know. There is literally nothing exciting about Pence. I have no doubt that those who follow Trump are loyal to him but there is also evidence emerging that his grip on the party's base is slipping. Here is what I am interested to see in the Republican primary: If Trump loses a state is he going to call the vote a fake and throw the whole nominating process into chaos if he doesn't get his way? That's something that he would do. I hope he doesn't either. The entire country needs to move on.
This is an excellent point and one that seems to be forgotten. Trump won in 2016 in the EC but lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton, the worst presidential candidate in the history of American politics. If he had run against anyone else, even Old Joe, he loses.
