They are not going after Ivanka because she is Donald's child. They want to question her because she was a government employee in the White House. Unlike the Biden situation, Hunter was targeted for political gain specifically because he is Joe's son.
Hunter was never targeted. The crackhead left a laptop with shit on it at a pc shop and that guy handed it to the FBI it was so bad.
A few points. The laptop was evidence. People in the FBI saw it and leaked it. Going after Ivanka is a fishing expedition. They are looking for a crime with no evidence of her breaking one. If you dont understand this fundamental difference then lets just agree to disagree and you can go on TDS'ing. Your rational is that anyone in government, anyone at the speech. Anyone in DC, anyone who posted on FB are all now subject to government investigations is the exact reason the 5th is a tool for citizens to use against abuse of powers.
Ivanka was in the Oval Office on January 6 with her father when trump was on the phone with Mike Pence discussing what would transpire that day. Ivanka is more than just trump's daughter. He appointed her to a Federal position, she accepted. She was part of the government, not just some collateral unconnected child. Congress would be derelict if it DIDN'T subpoena Ivanka. And while I'm at it... Newt Gingrich said on Fox yesterday that the January 6 commission would be arrested when Republicans take back power. LET'S BE QUITE CLEAR ABOUT THIS: if that happens then we no longer have a genuine USA governed by the Constitution or rule of law.
