DandyDon mentioned this Soph. out of Miss. that will be a top recruit. Anybody heard of him before?

In Mississippi high school state playoffs, Franklin County won the 3-A State Championship over Nettleton Saturday 23-13. Sophomore QB/FS Jamie Collins ran for nearly 100 yards and 1 TD, passed for nearly 100 yards and 2 TDs, and had 3 interceptions and 5 tackles in the game. He was the game's MVP and was selected the player of the week by Clarion Ledger. Collins is 6'3", 200, has a VJ of nearly 40 inches, and will be national recruit. I am mentioning Jamie Collins because he might be the top quarterback in the nation his senior season at Franklin County and he is often seen wearing LSU merchandise. Check out Clarionledger.com for more information on the game and on Collins.

Never heard of him, but have heard we were already recruiting/had "offered" a sophmore QB - this may very well be him.

Sounds promising, particularly if he can cut down on the interceptions.

Sarcasm button? Just in case you were serious, I think he intercepted the passes on defense rather than the other way around.

Yeah I'm a graduate of Franklin County High School and was at the game last Saturday. He did have 3 interceptions on defense and he has a cannon for an arm, just needs to make smarter decisions at times but he is only a Sophmore and has matured alot just from the start of the season. I'm not sure about how he feels about LSU or anything but I will get my brother to find out since they go to school together.

Yeah Marcus is from here too, he went to Ole Miss cause of playing time, i doubt he would see playing time at LSU till his Junior year at least and he been starting at Ole Miss since the opening game so I guess he made the right decision for him

Yes, I'm sure he is a good kid and made a good decision for himself, but you know what they say, if you aren't a Tiger ... you are Tiger Bait !
