Wow, I have to say I agree with every thing you said. You are very level headed and can look deep into the subject. I've a feeling that many of the guys who post that Miles is stupid, a moron, etc hope that their remarks do lead to recruits choosing to go elsewhere so that the program will go down. They've been feeling that way a long time, and likely hatred when Miles has won the SECW, SEC and NC because they knew it would extend his tenure at LSU. Some don't like certain things about Miles and that is fine. I believe all of us have questioned things, but most can step back and look at the big picture based on facts, not on a gloomy prediction for the future. Every freaking coach in the history if the world makes at least one major gaffe every game, but only Miles is a moron. Every great coach has lost too inferior teams many times but only Miles is an idiot and terrible coach. Every great coach has gotten their ass handed to them but only Miles gets targeted for bring a lousy coach. Sean Payton's Saints got their asses kicked but I haven't heard anyone calling him names. New England has lost 2 Super Bowls to inferior teams but has anyone said Bill B can't coach. The Colts couldn't win a championship with Shula as HC but Shula is considered one of the greatest ever. Saban has lost 3 bigtime regular season games each of the past 3 seasons that should have been easy victories with all of the talent he has amassed, so is he a lousy coach? And in each of those games he made horrible decisions multiple times, you those guys call him a moron? I don't.
Any chance the recruits are reading this thread and thinking to themselves...holy shit that fan base can't agree on anything, I am going to Kentucky.
Now imagine if you were bama fans. You think the negatigers or the pumpers would have a more consistent disposition? Pumpers would be first ones on the miles is an idiot train and Saban is a god.
