Most in-state players already know about our passionate and rabid fanbase. They have been to Tiger Stadium and they see it, and they hear it. Our Reputation is no different than any other fanbase. We want to Win...A lot!!! Also, Cash is King.
just curious as to how many of the internet badasses on here who actively and systematically denigrate players would have the testicular fortitude walk up and berate the the player in person rather than from behind the protection of a keyboard??? my guess is not many.
Maybe we have a different definition of criticism/bash. There are bashers here, but most criticism is reasonable here, I believe. Can't speak for TOS but I find it hard to believe LSU is worse than other programs who kill trees/people over football. I understand the sentiment of the OP and don't fully disagree, but I think it's overblown. The criticism here is a good representation of a large number of lsu fans. Performance of the program warrants criticism, IMO. It's an arm race and the sec is beginning to measure elite status by NCs or at least being in play for same. We've fallen short two years in a row and Miles has made some multimillion dollar blunders. Anyone who says it is the function of message boards to present a united front are insane in the membrane. IMO.
