Currently has a 216.9 QB Rating (includes stats from today's game), 2nd only to Bryce Petty 221.8. 26 Total TDs (23 pass, 3 run) to only 3 Ints. Kid has confidence out the wazoo. Mariota a very close 2nd (28 Total TDs, 0 Ints). I would place Petty 3rd. I need to see a quality win first. He will get his shots after the another layup today (OU, Texas Tech, Ok State, TCU, Texas to end the season). After this, there is a droppoff with Manziel (8 Ints, 2 losses) and Bridgewater (no signature wins, 1 loss). I would actually have Sean Mannion 4th (29 TDs, 3 Ints). Too bad they had that ugly loss to start the season, although it was arguably his best game of the season. Brandon Cooks should get consideration as well, WR for Mannion and Oregon State (168 yards/game, 12 TDs).
Gotta be Mariota. In my opinion the PAC-12 is the best conference depth wise and Oregon is making everyone in that conference look stupid. Winston is having a great year no doubt, but I still think Mariota comes out on top. I will say this though, I hope this is the national championship game. Oregon and Florida State.
You know this is the same Florida State team that lost 7 WR/TEs from last years team due to transfer, quitting, injuries and players being dismissed from the team. http://www.sbnation.com/college-foo...-state-football-jarred-scooter-haggins-injury It was an offense with a QB with no experience who could have easily struggled with the attrition at those positions. Instead he has flourished.
Would like to see that matchup for the championship. With LSU out of it, I really don't care about the SEC's streak. Just don't want see Alabama there again.
Right, for a conference that never misses an opportunity to screw us over in some form or fashion the streak and the home office can suck it.
