Just heard on radio rumor reported by Incarcerated Bob of ibnsportsnet that Winston' s best friend bet $5500 that Louisville would win the first half vs FSU. Winston had his worst half of the season.
Incarcerared Bob called Finebaum and said he heard it from the friends bookie in Alabama. Friend is a player at UAB and before Louisville game his biggest bet had been $200
This just in....someone from some other college football team just got suspended for the remainder of the year for doing the exact same thing.
I generally believe in the maxim of where's there's stink there's shit. And there's been a load of stink following Mr. Famous for more than a year now.
I've never been so ready for one player to leave the college ranks as this douche. I'm just so terribly, terribly sick of hearing about his dumb ass. I usually reserve that type of eagerness for departure for a player that gives LSU trouble, like Tebow. But in this case, I'm just so sick & tired of there constantly being some new controversy and having it dominate the airwaves.
@Contained Chaos I'm not so much sick of there being almost constant controversy about Jameis "Crazy Crab Legs" Winston. I'm tired of there being so many allegations with nearly zero repercussions. Steal crab legs and crawfish from a local grocery store? Oh, he just got confused and forgot to pay, no punishment needed. Sign hundreds, if not thousands, of items that are subsequently sequentially validated, raising at least the probability that he got paid for them and Gurley, who fessed up to doing the same thing misses a third of his senior season? Well, there's no proof that he got paid, so Felon State University isn't going to do anything. Yell an internet meme in the prison yard (or student union, I forget which) that is tweeted by dozens of people? What a bad boy. Sit out a half against weak competition. That's not to mention a very serious rape allegation that the university, local law enforcement and the judiciary essentially condoned. And now point shaving. Fuck, I've got clients who screwed up far less who are paying for their sins. It just ain't right.
