Its been reported on another forum that UT has pulled his offer. I would seriously doubt the info. But worth looking into if someone knows of this.
I read a rumor several months back that grandma and momma were looking to make some deals. (hornfans.com) Now obviously rumors are just that...rumors. But as you stated, it's worth looking into. LSU has enough of a recruiting base and prestige to get involved in illegal recruiting. If the rumors are true we need to say bye bye as well. Let me also say that from what little I've seen quoted of McFarland, he seems like he has a good head on his shoulders and a quality kid which I assume comes from his momma and grandmamma which doesn't jive with the rumors.
The biggest rumor now is that Mom is not allowing any representative from the University of Texas into their homes any longer. Texas fans are stunned by the developments and have no idea as to what has transpired in the last couple of months to warrant this. Incredible if true. The longer this drags out, the better it gets for LSU. Hopefully McFarland says the hell with both Texas and OU, with mom and grandma pulling him to OU while he supposedly wants to go to Texas.
They must have really pissed her off, I know how those types of moms and grandmas can be, hell I was raised by a few. Wow, good information if it is true. I wonder what happened, thats the more interesting story.
heard Orange Bloods talking today on 610 sports radio about how the JM family denied the coaches of TEXAS into there home to give there recruiting pitch to JM. TEXAS coaches said, they've wash there hands in the recruitment of JM, and if he comes to UT, they'll accept his commitment. But they wont reach out to him anymore. So I don't really know what UT coaches did to piss off the Parents of JM, but it might be all over for them with JM. They also mentioned that JM loves UT and the Family Loves OU...
