    UT owns Texas.

We rent it out pretty good though.

McFarland still sticking to his 3 of LSU, OU and UT.

He wants to make a decision before his senior season. Says LSU is recruiting him really hard and has a good relationship with Peveto.

If we get McFarland and Loston, that would give us five 5 star recruits (Shepard, Randle, Davenport, Loston, McFarland). We would also have outside shots at several other 5 star recruits (Kennard, Brown, Kirkpatrick, Savage, Chaisson). Also Walters, Shaquelle Evans and Appleton just outside the 5 star group (projected). Another 16 players in the rivals.com top 100 that have interest in LSU. Best start to a recruiting season ever, not even close.

Winning the nat. champ. and Miles choosing to stay at LSU and not go to Mich. are two HUGE factors why we are doing so well, and so early, IMO.

Winning the champ. erased all doubt about Miles and his staff's ability to win the big one. That's the end of that discussion. I say Miles and his STAFF, because I think they are VERY important in the mix. Crowton appears a big benefit to LSU!. Moffit is a key also. Miles has credibility that the other schools could have possibly attacked him on, but not after winning the championship game. Look at all his bowl wins, they are excellent.

Staying at LSU over his alma mater is just huge! He won't go anywhere else, period. He's been at Mich., says  is a better deal. That speaks volume's to a recruit.

LSU! has a premier look about it in all aspects of the football program. Les made Patrick Johnson "feel comfortable with him and LSU". That's a big tribute to Coach Miles. Skip did us good with this hire.

For me, the last 7 years have been the best time to be a Tiger Football fan in my life. Enjoy!

And all you top recruits, come on down to LSU and play with the best!!!

Easy now, we only have one so far. I know on the surface everything points to LSU with Randle and Davenport and I'm looking for a record number of five star players this year too but let's not count our chickens fore they hatch.

Davenport still has yet to score what he needs on his ACT, for one thing- they may lower him to a four star if he's not academically eligible. . . right? I believe you did say academic eligibility affects star ratings.

Perhaps McFarland is not aware that all LSU football players named Jamarkus have been drafted #1 overall in the NFL draft?

Anthony McFarland went in the first round in 99 to Tampa Bay. OK, I looked that up... But hey, this kid can't miss if he comes to :LSU231:.
