For those who were worried that he wouldn't want to come here if Davenport was headed to LSU, don't worry. He wants to play for a top defense and he says a player like Davenport would make the line better which would allow him to contribute more. If not, then he will take the double teams and watch his Dline dominate. McFarland and Davenport have been in contact.
Yes, we will not hear his decision for awhile. He plans to make visits to each school and wants to attend one football game at each next season. Mentioned going to LSU and UT over the Summer as well. LSU is in the lead.
