i think he was talking about the crew for the pats vs. bills game. Steve Young, Mike and Mike were atrocious in my opinion.

I agree. They were terrible. Hope they dont return. Some of Youngs comments about JR were dead on but he is mr negative on all things QB. Sounds jealous.

Whoever mentioned about it being cold just think of that old saying. "The coldest winter was the summer I spent in San Francisco" or something like that. It can be cold as hell at night in the middle of July or August. That sea breeze can be painful.

    yeah i was.

the mike and mike crap gets old quick. i like their morning show but this good cop bad cop crap during the game just to attempt a ridiculous argument is annoying as hell. save the act for the show, not the booth. just call the game, moe and curley.

and steve young, stfu and off yourself. the game is supposed to be fun and enjoyable even when analyzing it. take a page from jaws. your misery is contagious.

espn learns thing very slowly. theyre influenced heavily by northeasterners that live for pro sports.

most people just want to enjoy the game. a tiny percentage of the viewers include the sports talk show demo they usually go after.

mike tirico brings very little to the table, which is perfect. he is a happy guy and he creates an enjoyable experience for all involved. jaws and gruden crtique people but it is in a "fun" sort of way. bout time they got that right.

I think Gruden was excellent. He disagreed with Jaws on if NE should kick onsides. When they didnt and NE recovered the fumble I think I heard him say "that must be why I'm not a coach anymore."

basically what i have noticed from the radio guys is a lot of the people there are your stereotypical, hardcore, big city, pro sports person. point is, i guess you would think the world wide leader would have random guys from all-around the world, but apparently they are still influenced by their location. eagles and sox fans do not see the world like the average person.

I admit that Young really put down JR and that was discouraging. I have to say that watching that game, like most games other than LSU games, is from a very leisurely point of view, not X's and O's, hell I can tell you I was drunk. In that respect, I appreciated the flow to which the conversation between M and M, because of their experience together and I thought they were at least entertaining, more so than those damn CBS announcers that do LSU games. Do I want them to do an LSU game, hell no, but I'm picky there. They have to know all the LSU players, and that's why the volumes down on the TV and up on Hawthorne on the radio.

Disagree, Gruden will be in South Bend next year. Shanahan or Holmgren will be in Dallas, you heard it here first.
