So where does that leave us? Is Adams right or wrong to point it out? Are the fans wrong for leaving? I agree, forget last night. That thing got ugly fast and it was clear the team had no fight or will to try and get back in to it. When it is as obvious as that then how can they expect people to stay and try to "will" them to victory? BUT... Lets say the football games that people run out of as if the damn stadium were on fire. Those wine and cheesers are the ones that are the problem IMO. Someone pointed out that the baseball crowd usually sticks around, I don't know why anyone would watch womens basketball ever so I can't comment there. Softball and gymnastics are another thing all together but I don't know how those crowds act, can't imagine they would bail on those things. I'm just wondering how far the butterfly effect is felt here.
No worse than most other very succesful schools when things aren't going their way. Saban gave bama fans hell when they left earlier this season. It happens everywhere. Doesn't make it right but it's part of the deal.
Hope springs eternal and I'm one fan who can't help but think that we'll have new highs to look forward to.
Yes, things started changing drastically when LSU made the decision to weed out the blue collar crowd.
Skip Bertman hired Nick Saban, Nick Saban won a BCS title. Obviously all the blame belongs to Coach Bertman.
"I don't often attend LSU games, but when I do, I stay till the end", most interesting Tiger fan in the world.
And if you were to conduct a poll of those leaving before time expired, I suspect the vast majority would claim to not be a miracle worker.
