Every kid in CFB thinks he's the next (insert best player in NFL history) at their position. Unfortunately in cases like this, these kids don't listen to the guys who evaluate for a living, and think they'll be the next big contract winner. Reality will set in when it's too late.

makes complete sense if hes riding the pine next year. its like a powerball ticket. play it and see what happens. if hes benched next year, hes screwed anyhow.

 

If he'd be benched at LSU, he won't make a pro team anyway. He needed another year, which the NFL told him. The early exodus kills LSU almost as much as having shitty QBs.

This makes absolutely no sense. I truly wish him well and hope he makes it. However he was more times than not the weak link when in coverage. In the Bama and ND game White pretty much shut down whoever he covered while they picked on Collins. To be honest I do not see Collins doing well in the NFL even with another year. At least that would give him a degree(unless he already has one).
