Re: JAU EUGENE TO LSU!!! We've gotten every Louisiana player that we've offered a scholarship to, except Chris Mitchell who has yet to commit. Plus he's gone out of state to pull some very nice players. Judging by what we have heard about the guys he recruited last year, I think it's safe to say that he is also a very good judge of talent.
Re: JAU EUGENE TO LSU!!! I think Miles/Henson and the staff have done a great job keeping the in state talent even though it has been a down year, and attracting the out of state guys. I think the academic center has been a huge tool as well as the new football complex (forgot about Mike's new cage too). When I think about what LSU looked like during the Dinardo years to now it is shocking. Bottom line is this was a harder year to recruit and the new coaching staff has come through. The only negative thing that happened was losing Dunbar which factored into Tillman and McCoy's decision, but it seems we will get Deas.

Re: JAU EUGENE TO LSU!!! the most impressive db i've seen and in person is only a 3 star according to those sites. I also heard an interview with him a couple months back which made me like him even more. Safety/LB out of Hammond High Troy Giddens. If hes not the fastest of the entire recruiting class in the 40, he certainly is on the field or close to it. he can fly and loves to hit. he has a lot of ronnie lott in him. I hope they keep him at Safety and not LB since he has great potential playing his natural position. plus i love big (200+ lbs), hard hitters back there and with his speed its just a bonus. scout now has jai as a 5. i dont think he was before but not sure. chris mitchell was a great addition. deas will be an even better one. sorry barners.
