Yep, that's why I should have caught it. He changed his avatar, so I didn't realize it was him at first.
Playcalling in the 2nd half didn't help, like someone mentioned, I don't think they threw a single pass on first down. In the first half they mixed it up better and spread the field with 3-4 WRs giving Etling more options.
Les saw it that that kind of play calling worked, Cam made him look bad with the 2nd Qtr play calling, and he was pissed that Tiger Stadium booed him and #6 off the field. So he went back to what he knows, killing continuity.
I hope you enjoyed that. We saw it in the LSU - TCU game in 2011, and then it promptly went into the wastebasket.
Les can turn on his TV any weekend and find out that kind of playcalling works, Etling's first 15 minutes 6-8 102 yards no INT 3 TD drives 1 pass to a tight end, believe it or not Second 3o minutes 0-6 O yards, 1 INT. The INT was thrown just a bit short. A little higher and it's a TD assuming Dupree could control the ball and bring in in, which has become doubtful lately. Another pass was just slightly to long for Guice, Otherwise another TD. With the game under control but with victory far from being sealed Les remembered to channel his inner Bo Schembechler again. If Bo were still alive today I wonder what he would tell Les. Bo change with his own times. He was running a 60's and 70's offense, not a 30's and 40's offense. Stay tuned Saturday for another episode of Uncle Les's Playbook. Bring your own crayons.
I wonder if the difference in play from the second quarter to the second half had to do with scripted plays versus coaches improvisation?
We are talking about the same clown who has had his QB take a knee with 5 minutes left on the clock. The same retard that wanted to clock the ball with less than 3 seconds and the team running 50 yards to the LoS. The same guy who thinks nothing is wrong with the offense. This dude is a clown man, and it pisses me off it took me 8 years to see the truth.
Don't forget him calling the timeout after we intercepted the ball. Think it was Az game in his first or second year
I wanted Elmer gone the night he was lifting the crystal. However I'll give him credit. It took him 11 years to flush what Nicky started down the crapper. I thought he'd do it in 5.
