I kind of agree with him. A lot of guys play with a lot worse than a sore calf. The toe injury seems like a non-issue. You have QBs come in and play on the college level with broken bones on their throwing hand. He got paid a lot of money to not practice for a week.
Call me a hater if you wish, but I think they're better without Marion Barber anyway... I honest to God do. Choice got 80 on the ground and 70 through the air yesterday on the best defense in the NFL. Barber's a good back, but he is his own worst enemy. Instead of hitting the hole, he tries to run over everyone on every play and all that does is: 1. hurt the team 2. cause him to hurt himself. There's no coincidence (at least to me) that Felix averaged 8.9 a carry when he was healthy, Choice averages 4.4 a carry currently and Barber averages 3.9 now. He was better as a pound it, compliment back like he was last year.
and just a side note. when you win 1 game in the NFL, much less 3 Superbowls as an owner, then you can call someone a jackass.
Beyond cooky. Probably wont win the division but being competitive is a nice change. It took them 10+ years to figure out that a QB could make a difference...how sad.
