LSU has not really tried to be an option team. LSU runs just enough option to force the rival defensive coordinators to be ready for it and making them use valuable practice time preparing for it. And when we use it effectively, it can catch a opponent by surprise.

For those that defend the option by stacking the box, they set themselves up for the pass out of the option to single-covered defenders.
