I thought Minnesota at first, and I think he is the best fit as far as chemistry with KG (perfect inside, outside combo). But then what the hell does Minnesota have to offer in return? Plus, the management has already come out and said the money situation wouldn't work out (I think the NBA has a salary cap system of some kind).

So now I say Chicago. He wouldn't go out to the West like Philly would like, but at least he isn't in the same division. Chicago obviously has the players to offer in return.

Iverson for Gordon. The Bulls are in need of a late game clutch go-to guy. Iverson is it.

    What say you?

This is ironic, since Gordon was one of the best players in the league in the 4th quarter last year.

I'm not sure AI is the best fit. I'm guessing Isaiah Thomas is trying to trade a few #1 picks for him, so he can add to his inventory of non-passing two guards.

I actually think the Spurs could use him, though I haven't completely thought this through.

no way the Spurs go after Iverson - for one they have Parker already, and two they do not have any attractive young players the Sixers would want. Dallas has the latter in young talent, but Cuban has already said he is not interested in Iverson. I think AI will be a Celtic personally....

Spurs - no way in hell....Spurs thrive on team chemistry...AI disrupts that

Celtics - definitely can see that, will the 76ers deal him to a division foe? 76er fans are still loyal to AI and I don't think 76ers brass wanna watch Iverson put up a 50 on their team 3-4 times a season.

Philly should force whoever they trade Iverson to give up mulitple #1 picks. Iverson is a top 2 point guard in the league. He's not that old and makes a team an instant contender. The 76ers suck now and will suck after Iverson so they should build for the future.

Chicago has PJ Brown's expiring contract, a bunch of young guys and the Knicks first round pick this year. They need a scorer and Iverson fits that bill.

Boston and Denver are being reported to have best shot and that the deal will be done by Dec 15th.

Boston - Telfair + first round choice? - Boston will be a lottery pick team this season
Denver - JR Smith + first round choice + veteran player? - Denver will not be a high enough draft pick so they will have to give up more in terms of players than Boston

Does Iverson have a no-trade clause? If he does, then there is absolutely no way he wants to go to Boston. Talk about a team that isn't anywhere close to championship capabilities.

Players Boston can offer and their respective ages:
    Sebastian Telfair (21)
    Ryan Gomes (24)
    Delonte West (23)
    Kendrick Perkins (22)
    Rajon Rondo (20)
    Tony Allen (24)
    Al Jefferson (21)
    Leon Powe (22)
    Gerald Green (20)
    Allan Ray (22)

He's 31, which is technically the start of anyone's decline in their career in the NBA. Not many NBA players have thrived into their mid 30s (key word is thrive).

The injuries are starting to mount and take their toll. Although Iverson is the grittiest player in the NBA, playing thru injury when most would not (see Absessed tooth he played with for 2 whole games, unreal).
