Why is Lebron still attempting 3 pointers? Is he ever gonna give up the fact that he is not a legit long ranger shooter?
Denver now 7-1 with Mr. Clutch. 2nd best overall record in the West after starting 1-3. Detroit now 4-3 with Iverson. Not bad. Is Rodney Stuckey 50 cent's younger brother? lol
he has to shoot them. whether he makes them or not. Besides, career 32% isn't THAT bad. He is in no way Glen Rice, but in perspective, Rasheed Wallace is a 34% career long range shooter. Without his outside shooting, he wouldn't be nearly as effective as he is. the threat of him hitting from out there brings the defense out, which allows him to slash to the lane later and get his 35 a game. It's like LSU football. Even if you're not great at passing, you have to still do it a little bit to set up the bread and butter. Lebron's problem imo is that he (like Nowitski) shoots too many long 2's. There is no benefit to the long 2. It's just as low-percentage as the 3 and you only get the 2 points for it.
Detroit 8-3, pretty decent record as of now. Its a long season, however, Stuckey is the future, remember me saying this.
Iverson was a no show at practice this morning. Will not play in the game tomorrow night. That's unfortunate. I didn't think Iverson would "act up" this soon.
Detroit improves to 5-5 with Iverson. Denver is 9-2 with Chauncey. The schedule has been light during the last 10 games, with Denver going 1-2 against superior competition during this stretch. They finally get a more difficult stretch of games, so we'll see what happens.
I agree. It's thanksgiving. It doesn't really matter that the other 11 players were dedicated to the team and hell bent on one thing....winning. And he's been there for the bigger part of what, 3 weeks? He certainly should assume control at this point. In the immortal words of Jerry Sienfeld, "good luck with ALL that".
you're so smart, Casey. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/55862/20081208/stuckey_likely_headed_to_starting_lineup/
Thus, they should have never gone after Iverson. Bad fit. Hamilton on the bench doesn't make sense. He is a leader on that team.
