I've seen big raises for Asst. Coaches in my time. But 225K?

Remember, they don't have to pay college players, so more money can go to the coaches.

How much of an impact would losing Wilson have if it happened?

Major impact on recruiting, but temporary. Les has a record of good hires.

True, the hires of Raymond and Adam Henry have payed off well. These two have done well with the in-state and OOS kids. Many coaches look at stability in coaching, right now LSU is one of the more stable programs in the nation. Ask Joe Robinson, Mike Haywood and Larry Porter about stability. Congrats to Joe Rob, hes on the staff at USCe, TE and Special Teams coach. Congrats to Porter, he has gotten a job with Zona St. Good coaches look at stability in coaching and also stability in home with the family.

The move by this former LSU coach is a nice one......wonder if he had some input on the RR draft to the Giants?

Dooley is not on solid ground, but Tennessee is locked in on Kirby Smart... at least that is the word I heard.

Also NFL owners can have a huge note to pay on the stadium loan or from the purchase of team and not to forget the margin that they want for themselves.

keep in mind that LSU spends 650K less than Auburn in recruiting, 680K less than Alabama, and $1.2 million less than Tennessee:

    1,479,099 -- Tennessee
    980,882 -- Alabama
    950,378 -- Auburn

The Tenn source I have stated Dooley is on very shaky ground and Kirby Smith is the front runner for the position.

Kirby Smart's name has come up many times for jobs, he's a good hire.
