    Funny.

The funny thing is also that after Friday, I was tempted to post some funny comments about the football team... how about:

Well, at least we have a basketball team.

Head over to the PMAC for some real coaching.

Want to see some defense? Then head to the PMAC. :dis:

Seriously though, I was ready to start posting stuff after the Ole Piss game. I hope that the LSU "fans" really wake up, in light of this sort of lull in LSU pigskin and visit the PMAC early and often this season. Truth is, they're going to see a team give 95-100% effort in every game, and play their asses off. That's what a coach can do. I'll have to admit as a Brady supporter for many years, it's just plain hard to replace the intensity of a new coach, under new circumstances. Trent speaks and these kids are listening. Bottom line as others have posted, this coaching staff will not tolerate less than 100% effort on the defensive end, and that's a more than half the battle in college hoops. On offense, they'll allow more latitude (and hence the previous comment about looseness), but look at the stats... tonight against Troy, they had 26 assists to 8 turnovers, shot 37.5% from three (the new three line). Brady coached offenses wouldn't have generated those numbers. Largely b/c they're putting people in the right place on the court and driving folks to pass and take good shots.

I'm getting stoked for hoops for sure. I believe the next game vs. Cal State Fullerton (a NCAA tourney team mind you, with 4 returning players) will be this Tuesday on TV.

:geaux: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL, FOLKS (AGAIN).

Yes, and they looked pretty darn good tonight. :thumb:

Cal State-Fullerton will be the first real test of what the team is made of, so everyone come out and support the Tigers Tuesday night.

LSU beat Troy tonight. I didn't get to the game and am wondering: did anyone think about thanking them for giving us the football game this season. I mean, if you think about it, the least we could have done is return the favor.

Went to the Cent game and will say the starters can play some defense.
Game only got close at the end because he let everyone play.

Perhaps BB coach will coach FB defense next year???:geaux:
