Man I completely lost faith in Shepard (and I'm unsure why I lasted that long) when he ran a jet sweep to the left in 2010 I think, and had nothing but green in front of him, and Mark fucking Barron chased his ass down from behind.
There were discussions during the meetings with the AD's on how to handle the three way tiebreaker but nothing has been released publicly yet—that I've seen. Among those ideas on the list were using a different poll like the playoff committee's poll. There were also discussions on using cross-divisional opponents played and the strength of that schedule. In 2014 that would likely favor Auburn who plays UofSC and UGA.
should have stayed, maybe he wants playing time, but just get your degree and go to grad school. The kid is very smart.
I'm not as confident as the original poster. Having 2 new QBs is quite scarey for me. Having said that, I think the West will be another dog fight this year. I doubt Auburn will be as good and have the same luck as last year. Bama has a new QB, lost a lot of talent, but they're still Bama and loaded with 5 and 4 star talent. Hope their offense is a dumpster fire. Ole Miss is improving. They open with Boise St. A&M's D was awful last year and they have a new, unknown QB this year. I expect a tough year for them. Miss St returns a lot of defense and an experienced QB. This should be a good season for them. 8 or 9 wins. Florida will be better than last year, for sure. I think, we'll know a lot more about our team after the Wisconsin game. A game that we can definately lose.
