Lee would have played just like he has in the past against Bama: he would have pissed his pants. The game and defensive pressure is just too much for Both JL and JJ. Bottom line we were fortunate to have two QB's of little ability lead us to 13-0. Both guys are fine kids and I wish them the best, but they are below average QB's and it turned out to be a shame that Lesticles did not put a little more effort into seeing what Mettenbeger could do early in the season when JJ was suspended and LSU was winning by large margins. Great season, but could have been special.

IMO, this is a line of thinking that, as a Tiger FAN, you can't have. If you don't let yourself fight another day and move on from the past, you'll never escape it and the loss will cause you to continually lose day after day, week after week, year after year. There's ALWAYS another battle to fight.

The team has to learn from last night, but as fans, we should just straight forget it. To me, LSU and Bama are all about what happens next year in BR. Will we ever face them for another NC in our dome....probably not. So what? It hurts. It sucks. I hate it. You've got to try and let it go and move on.

For the sake of not being redundant, why was Miles so insistent on keeping Jefferson in the game? Give Lee at least one series to see if he could move the offense. But you truly have to give 'Bama credit . . .their defense was stellar. I've never seen a championship game where the defense was so dominant. We'll see you next year in Arkansas (I hope Fayetteville opposed to Little Rock!)

Well said! I hope the Tigers (coaches & players)learned from this.

I'm not much into basketball but I am looking forward to the baseball season and spring football.

You obviously don't live in Alabama. Half the people in this state will have t-shirts and other items with "14" on it by this afternoon. I can't really avoid it by staying away from their websites, because I can assure you they will remind me of it.

This was our opportunity to have a season clearly better than any of the 14 they claim as national champions. I won't be around long enough to beat them in raw numbers, but I could have at least had that. And in a 3 hour span, it disappeared without a real fight.

Last night was like rooting for Greg Norman at Augusta.

I know, I'm taking it too hard. And yes, I still support Miles. But last night was one of the worst displays of football I've ever seen LSU participate in. Worse than 0-20 to UF in 85, 0-30 Ark in 92, 3-58 UF in 93, 26-30 AU in 94 & 0-31 UA in 02. And Miles must take responsibility for that.

I have read threads and I qualified my remarks by saying "for the sake of not being redundant". Read before you make lame remarks.

Read before you ask questions that have been answered about 200 times today, chief.
