it was pretty similar to the previous Bama game in Death Valley.

defense played lights out (until Chavis went prevent on last drive).

 

He didn't expect O to do it to him.

 

Ugh, I was at that game too. That was the beginning of the end for Trey Quinn at LSU too. Think about this... starting quarterback, backup qb and 3 receivers that played in that game all transferred.

 

last 2 Bama games in Death Valley that Miles coached, the offense handed a late lead to the defense. and Chavis blew both of them.
but Miles took the heat.

last game O coached, defense played lights out, but offense was less than anemic.
O got praised for it.

 

Miles should have told Chavis no prevent D. He knew Chavis did it, he did it every time we had a lead. Remember blowing 21 points to Tennessee at home on a Monday night. The reason Miles took heat is for not telling Chavis to get out of it.

Ironically it was Chavis that shut LSU down in the 2nd half that Monday night.
