Believe me, I wish it were otherwise.

We seem to have no ability to shift our protection, to chip pass rushers with a FB or TE, etc. We don't seem to have the ability to roll our pocket away from the pressure, so DE ends up having to tuck and run rather than be able to shit around a bit to buy time. The only quick passes we have are in the flat or a shovel pass to the RB. It's run it (and admittedly we have more variety there than in the past) or throw it long. We rarely get it out quickly over the middle or to the TE.

 

Etling also has happy feet; hard to blame him, but it doesn’t help. Receivers could help as well. All need to have a good game; if we can’t pass we can’t run, if we can’t run we can’t win. Defense has no chance if offense doesn’t sustain drives and eat clock.

 

We won the last 3 game doing most of the things you say we can't do. Yes we need to fire Canada and promote you to OC. We wont win because we dont have the depth that Bama has and because they have out recruited us over the last 3 years not because of what you say. I doubt that Canada a seasoned OC with a record of success for some reason can't figure out what you see. I do wish we passed more and jury still out as far as I am concerned.

 

i don't think is impossible... improbable would be more apt, however; if we can manage to stop the run the probability of a win increases... Geaux!!!

 

This is our NC game. If we win, the sky is the limit, it would be a crazy boost to the program that could lead to great things in a short period of time. If it were to happen, I’d hope O could navigate it. The games after are in a way more important than this one, win or loss.
