It's not about magic, it's about coaching and LSU finally has the advantage

I never said he was gonna be the greatest ever, I said he was gonna be successful at LSU.

 

What O did was put together a competent offense for most of the season, a complete 180 from what happened in the first 4 games and for years under Miles. He gets a pass vs Bama as interim running the offense with a TE coach. The FU loss was disappointing, but a decision was made at the end of the year.

It’s too early to say that decision was wrong, we’ve rebounded from the slow start in impressive fashion. If O can do the unthinkable and beat Bama, that would be nuts, like Miles at his apex. If not, he can still keep the arrow pointed up by winning out after. To this point O’s first season is a success despite the rocky start.

 

I don’t hate that you’re being cautious, but the cautious negativity is a little over the top. You’re placing way too much importance on the Bama game last year. There are a smattering of red and green flags. Too early to write the guy off. Y’all are letting your hatred of Alleva cloud your objectivity. Not many expected LSU to be world beaters this year. Many say beating Bama is impossible; if hell freezes over curious to see how many will be wearing ice skates and how many’ll still be poking holes.

Fedora is 1-7, Herman has 4 losses, Fisher has 5 losses and is a probation risk, who are your other big name candidates available last year? Orgeron did a great job in the interim, and built a credible resume' and deserves a three year shot. There weren't any big names available that I would want. Alleva is for shit, fuck him. Coach O running the team has NOTHING to do with Alleva.

 

And Pelini ran the prevent and Miles should have vetoed it.
