It's been a long time since we had nothing to play for

I know, I mean it's like we have sucked since bell bottoms were popular. I mean all I can ask for as a fan, win the SEC, post a winning record against all the other SEC teams, get us to a national championship game, maybe win one. Win over 75 pct of your games, recruit top talent. If only we had that.

Honestly, you have to wonder how old some of these people are. Do they have any idea of what the 20 years before Nick Saban were like?

You have to be right or it's people just screwing with us. To say something like its been so long since we've had anything to play for is absurd. Not even a year ago we are playing Bama for the SEC West, less than 2 years ago it was for a national championship. Honestly I think Saban has alot to do with it. If he was still in the NFL and wasn't winning championships in gumpville, I don't think people would be this idiotic. Still in love with the ex girlfriend so treat the current one like shit

I've been going to games since I was 6. My dad took me to the most home games he could, and I am thankful that I was able to experience quite a few memorable home games from that time till now. He's been a season ticket holder since before I was born. LSU is in my blood. I am now 36 years old. My memory reaches back since the Bill Arnsparger days. So I'm pretty familiar with the way things were before Saban. Just a little insight from me.

Well, if you suffered through Archer and Hallman, you know how bad it can be.

I was at the '93 AU game with my ex, we were getting killed, so we left the game in the 3rd quarter (I'll admit it--there were times I left early when we sucked; I wouldn't do it when we're good. But I was also in my 20's, and well, there were bars to hit; none of that crap anymore...)

Anyway, an LSU fan yelled at my ex and called him a bad LSU fan. He retorted, "I may be crazy 'bout Curley, but I'm not ready to be committed."

Remember those bumper stickers? Crazy 'bout Curley?

When I saw my first game, Charles Alexander was playing. The one who took handoffs from Steve Ensminger, not the one who played DT next to Glenn Dorsey.

Something to consider: the new QB's are probably getting some time with Cam now as well. Bright side, they start next season looking at least half as good as Mett started this season.
Recruiting won't take a hit. I think we still pick up some good talent and hopefully a new star as well.
Hey, one can hope right? :)

I like how other schools get good freshman QB's but they all suck at LSU until they are seniors.
