40 touchdown passes (44 overall), 4000 yards passing, 10.6 yards per attempt, and won a Heisman

think about that regarding an LSU offense with Fournette at running back....does that team lose a game? not likely

For all those who want to keep Miles one more year.

What magical changes will he make on offense next year he hasn't made in the last 7 years that will make us semi scary?

Yes, there is a lot I like about Jimbo, I guess the memory of the offense when he was here combined with our putrid offense now just has me skiddish. I really don't want anything that even remotely resembles Miles offense. I think his success would depend greatly on him being able to assemble a first class staff.

The point has been made that he had to extinguish the dumpster fire Bowden left him, which I think has some validity.

News out of memphis. Fuente has been approached by LSU and VT. Memphis has made an offer in the 3.5 million range to keep him and promises of major upgrades to keep potential suitors at bay. Fuente won't sign and will weigh his options at the end of the year. Quote from him. People I spoke with in the know, say he is very interested in the LSU job and wants to bring Barry Odom with him to LSU. Odom is the current DC at mizzu and former DC for Fuente at Memphis.Fuente is a hell of a good young coach. He is doing a tremendous job with developing walk on talent and 2 star recruits. Only knock on him is can he recruit. He can develop players but can he recruit. It would be in his best interest to keep Coach O on the staff to help with recruiting.

I've heard some disparaging remarks about Moffitt. Is he past his prime or being left behind by his protégées?

They don't make them like Moffitt anymore. Losing him would be a blow. Like everything you have to consider all circumstances. Jimbo would want to keep him, I believe.

Look at Bamas players, most look like they've been on the roids for 3 years.
