It wasn’t supposed to be like this. LSU was supposed to lose lots in 2018.

Hey Stacey If we beat Alabama or give them one hell of a game do you think that gets Orgeron a decent look and people will give him a chance that didn't before.

Being the son of a coach I have always tended to give the coach a chance until he proves he isn't the right guy.

I still supported Les Miles and still do but I did realize why people had started off the bandwagon. Sometimes you get too predictable and quit doing the things that made you successful before.

I didn't know on Orgeron at first but I wanted him to succeed and was waiting to see what he brought to the table. I like most of his decisions and he manages the game better than Les by a long shot.

I often think Les was the best head coach we could have right up until he stepped on the field.

There is a lot to being a head coach at a place like LSU and we expect to be in the Natl. Championship hunt every year. Those are high expectations.

I love the Tigers no matter who our Coach is and my Favorite will always be Charley Mac. He reminds me of the way my dad coached.

He unfortunately had to Coach against Bear Bryant in his time that is similar to the time now.

Just give it all ya got and leave it on the field and I will be proud to call myself a TIGER WIN OR LOSE.

I tigerbaited Saban 2 weeks after the Natl. Championship aganst LSU at the A T & T golf at Pebble Beach from 8 feet. He looked right at me and I said it again. I never broke eye contact and he knew exactly what I was saying.

In my book he will always be Tigerbait and a traitor.

I have a soft spot for Charlie Mac, too. My dad, being a high school coach, knew him well.

I always felt that Miles got the Charlie Mac treatment. Both followed a national champion head coach who bolted for greener pastures. The LSU fans seemed to still love the coach that jilted them. Both had to face a force of nature coach at Bama, which became both coaches' downfall.

The jury is still out on Orgeron. One thing that lingers as a concern with him is his close association with past programs that ended up in trouble (Miami, USC). I hope he plays by the rules (enough) to keep us off of probation.

I guess my question is... Who isn't giving him a chance? I don't see anyone saying negative things about O anymore but people keep asking when are you gonna give him a chance. He has his chance now.

I see some still questioning the choice of Ensminger... but God help you if you do because that is apparently the #1 sign that you know nothing about football.

The problem with E through my eyes is that it takes about a half of football before he changes it up. He also is 100% OK with kicking FG's.

He does seem to struggle for a while after the scripted plays run out. Sometimes finds a groove where things look good and sometimes it's like he just reigns everything in. Let's just hope he doesn't resort to the run up the middle, run up the middle, throw it deep default Bama gameplan.

But I don’t have a problem with that if we win!
