I liked that alot. Nice way to rile up the fans in a tight ball game heading into the 4th quarter. Way to play up the "Sat. night game in Death Valley" mystique as well. Nicely done, IMO.
I actually recorded that on my phone as CBS ran it on TV. Then I mailed it to about 50 people. CBS thought it was great in the sense of our college football tradition. I saw it more as a shot at CBS (even though I know it really wasn't). :lol:
If anyone has a DVR I would appreciate it being on youtube. That really got the crowd pumped. It was a great way to announce the 4th.
He used it during the Bama game a few years ago. Reporting From ... Tiger Stadium - ESPN The Magazine I'm thinking he has done it before...but I can't remember. Not many games start day and go into night. This one he ushered it into night. LSU!
Yes. Loved it! The Gods of Death Valley being slyly invoked for the fourth quarter...so I got a little bit of my wish, at least, to witness a night game in DV. The fourth quarter was great to behold.
