Miles recruited every single Louisiana recruit he went after. including 10 of the Advocate Super Dozen. A clean sweep!
PERHAPS we could have TWO Heisman Trophy candidates of our own (after all, RP's goal is to win it)...
well jv's was to get 1200 yards his sophomore year....  let's stick to team goals. they seem to work out better.
This has GOT to be the BEST GROUP OF RUNNING BACK RECRUITS IN THE NATION!!!! Keiland, a 5-star RB (who is listed as the #6 over-all prep-school player) Scott, ranked as the #8 running back in the nation by rivals....and.... Murphy, ranked as the #9 running back in the nation! :thumb: Those 3 are ALL STUDS! I think Scott and Murphy redshirt (since we now have Keiland along with RJ Jackson, A-Rob and even Hester, and once they're healthy AB and JV. That means Scott and Murphy can slowly be eased into the system and concentrate on conditioning and strength training all the while spreading out some of this top-notch talent! I think a redshirt would do Murphy, in particular, some good since he's only 1 year removed from a knee injury of his own--and it gives him time to add a few pounds to his 195 lbs frame. If Scott pulls another "Barrington Edwards" and really doesn't want to redshirt, then he would make a very good special teams player at the least until his time comes to assume a more active role in the offensive backfield.
I was looking over recent threads and noticed a mistake I made. I indicated Tirk was one of those who wanted to pull KW's scholly. I was wrong. He had the same opinion I did: that Williams was just making sure he made the right decision and should be left alone. I apologize to tirk for the error. Will try to be more careful in the future.
