Somebody last night watching the Bama game in Montana with no dog in the hunt came to an obvious conclusion If LSU has a qb they win by at least ten. I wasn’t expecting to be writing that this morning . Moral of the story - amazing what our bunch could still come up with amidst a season that has been 100% crap storm . No better validation that it won’t take the right guy coming in to get us back within a hare’s breath of Bama and Jawjuh. With these accolades we return to reality — where was this team against a mediocre Ky and Ole Miss? This is where we came in - despite last nights valiant effort Baby Huey has let this program become one giant Mood Ring - no direction , no consistency . The team plays when it wants when it feels like it and for as much as I want to give O credit for last night’s show of pride and effort what he’s allowed this program to deteriorate down to must also be part of the ledger. The trick to anything whether you’re selling shoes or nuclear weapons is being able to handle accountability as well as adulation year in and year out. Let’s hope the next man up can.
