So would Saban and probably most winning coaches and that is my problem not only with this game but the way the season has gone.
That is the only reason I got as upset as I did tonight, the coach was stubborn and cost us the game tonight.

My only thinking is that JJ was just not ready to go in against the #1 team in a close game (either to come in down 7 or tied). How many freshmen would be? That would have probably backfired HORRIBLY. No way JJ should have seen the field except as a gimmick play.

Now next week... He should get HALF of the snaps.

Saban played Booty over Rohan Davey.

We can speculate about this until the cows come home. Would JJ have been able to lead us downfield on the game-tying drive in the 4th quarter? We don't know. However, that's what is so frustrating about Lee, at times he looks good, and at times, well not so much... I think it is understandable why CLM chose not to play JJ tonight. Talk about being thrown into the fire!

Of course on the other hand, if JJ plays and leads us to victory, then CLM looks like a genius.
