I was just trying to get the game played because that to me is more important than whether the fans get to see it in person. And the reason it was so important is we have a green starting qb that in order to prepare better for our season could have benefited tremendously having a game under his belt. moot point now. But these next 2 games can make or break our season. Sure hope missing this game doesn't hurt our chances. Go get em rested Tigers
Any given week can make or break our season. Not to mention, in the voice of LVT, "We play in the SEC. It's brutal."
At this point, we just need to look at MooU like we did Oregon or Wisconsin, our opening opponents the past 2 seasons. Yeah, they're essentially our first game, and a quality opponent, but we just need to rise to the occasion. If the most improvement is between games 1 and 2, then lookout Auburn, mfer's! Geaux!
It's a handicap, but a small one. If the Tigers can't deal with it and go in there with confidence, then they may not have the stuff this season. I expect some hiccups early starting four freshmen, but we have the talent to take State if the team can gel quickly enough.
