Is there any way they could have both traveled to the superdome tomorrow and played the game. This is a disservice to LSU McNeese and our fans.

They. Could have started warming up by 10:45 and gotten the game underway by 11:15, 11:30. Weather was better then.

You should try to learn something before you post. First it wasn't Alleva's decision. The Referees and game management and NCAA decision. The logistics of moving the game was so fantastic to make it practically impossible.
I was there and the only thing you can curse is the weather. Was it frustrating? Yes. Did it suck? Yes. However to blame Alleva is ridiculous.

There were options to cancelling the damn game.

The game could have been played today.

And anyone like you that says different is wrong.

Would it have involved some major logistics yes but I saw amazing things happen when Katrina happened.

Seems we moved a game to Arizona State last minute.

So maybe some lazy person like you is ok with cancelling the game but anyone with a will to play it could have found other options.


And I can guarantee you that those kids wanted to play that game more than the fans. They would have slept on cots in the pmac to play it today if you asked them.

And it wouldn't have involved any detriment to their safety for the NCAA to be concerned about.

I agree it wasn't in the kids safety for last night. But I don't see how they couldn't work something out for today. Geez we played on a Monday night before.

 

like someone said to you in another thread. Future considerations or the fact that they need a game under their belt too. And the fact that they are a Louisiana University and their kids wanted to play against LSU.

This isn't moving a high school play to the other schools auditorium. Moving an LSU game has many dimensions. It involves contracts, activating security, notifying media outlets.
