The interesting thing is that in all of the discussions of who would be in the NC game, VT never came up. Even Oklahoma was mentioned as a possiblily. But I believe VT could easily end up in the NC game against OSU.
Momentum is already building for an LSU-OSU BCS NCG. If these guys have any influence at all, and I am not saying they do, it's a good thing. People are already musing about who goes to meet OSU and the CONSENSES has been LSU so far. 2 losses in 3OTs each. LSU wins Conference, while UGA and Kansas do not.
So, when we were thinking our "ex coach" Miles was being ridiculous bringing up the "we're undefeated in regulation" argument Monday, he was actually being just as smart as he was back in the summer trashing the Pac 10. That bashing awarded us the #2 preseason ranking. The 3OT argument was picked up and run with by the media today, and his press conference this afternoon made LSU the ONLY team that the talking heads wanted to talk about today.
