Yeah, that's weak gumborue. The highest peak is when the game wasn't even being played and it didn't last very long. The peak was probably all the fans racing each other to get out of there so they didn't have to sit and watch another boring-azz half of football against powerhouse FAMU. We had like 79,000+ for that Auburn game compared to 90,000+ for that Florida reading and that's the best they could do? Actually, that's being unfair because I don't think anyone would get fired up for FAMU and LSU probably wouldn't have as much activity as Florida did if they played FAMU today. We've already established that seismographs pick up activity and background noise as the geologists said. But the LSU geologists were shocked by the length of time that the LSU/Auburn game registered significant activity. Anyway, as long as people like gumborue are out there, the "Earthquake Game" legend will last a long time. It was a good try though. Sorry the Florida guys couldn't give you some good material to work with.
my source says otherwise-- "See attached. Seismic station GNV no longer in operation, unfortunately, or I would have sent you some seismograms of a more recent UF-LSU game..... Best! Ray Russo"
Tiger Stadium is definitely a place where crazy things happen. Take for example: Last year against Bama. Bama's kicker was lining up to take a 25-yard chip shot field goal for the win. Me, along with every other LSU fan in the stadium concentrated all of our anger and evil spirits upon him and he missed it. I will never forget that moment, plus it was on my b-day. Then Jarrett Lee...anyways. :dis: And the Oregon State game? Their kicker missed all 3 extra points in the game including the potential game tying one in OT. The doink game against Auburn, where John Vaugn went 1-6 in FG's including the potential tying one in OT. UGA's normally-on-target kicker missed 3 against us in 2003. It's a place where kickers go to die and a place where you learn to expect the unexpected...in our favor of course :geaux:
Yep. What a joke. That same cop made us put away our flip cup table. After a while he just left us LSU fans alone and messed with the Florida fans...then we all joined efforts and they gave up. Florida fans were telling me that they "have never had so much fun tailgating!"
