Hilliard needs to get most if not all of the tough carries in the title game.

Very noticeable. They took his state of mind from him or something.

I agree Hillard is the power back running at full steam now but the question was" is Ware at 100%". Is there an injury that is holding him back?

    Disagree there buddy.
LSU needs to continue the stable, Blue, Ford, Hilliard and Ware.
Just wear them out with fresh bruisers.

    You would be incorrect.

    Watch the Bama game again.

    Ware was going NOWHERE.

LSU cannot afford 1 yard runs, essentially downs being thrown away. Against the two stout 3-4 run defenses LSU has faced (Georgia and Bama), Ware has amassed:

    22 carries, 42 yards

We can't afford an average of 11 carries by Ware to go towards the offensive gameplan vs Bama.

All other backs in those 2 games:

    35 carries, 274 yards

I love Spencer Ware, but I love winning a national championship a lot more.

Ware opened up the outside runs for Ford...That's how it's been all season. He's never been our guy to get a lot of yards but he gets the tough yards running inside. I agree he hasn't been the same. I mean, the YPC is about the same but he used to lay out the defenders and make them regret tackling him...I miss that

There was one carry in the UGA game that it seemed like Ware lowered his shoulder to take on a defender that wasn't there. It just slowed him down until an actual defender got to him.

I think Ware has been solid all year but others in the backfield have been solid and spectacular at times.

I commented about that as well.

LSU is more physically fit than Bama, especially in the cardio dept.

LSU needs to spread Bama out and make them run for 60 minutes. Ther were dragging ass in the last few minutes of the first game they lost to LSU.

With JJ running the option with Ford all game, they will be even more tired on Jan 9. LSU takes the game and blows it wide open in the 4th quarter as they have all year.
