That's probably true for some. Sidestepping messy racial politics, Hester ran for 1,000+ yards in 2007, never fumbled, and turned in some of his best performances in crucial games during a National Title season. That's why I'll never forget the guy. For the record, I'm white. But I'm also tall and have a slight prejudice against short men. So there's that.
