It this what we have to look forward to? Sabans talent is gone. This is a complete CLM program. (kinda reminds me of the Okie cowboys....giving up 50 points a couple of times a year) CLM is either stupid or just stubborn to depend on Lee. Ray Charles can see Lee is not progressing. I dont want to hear the RP excuse. LSU was a top notch program and the coaching staff should have been prepared for that. (everyone knew RP was a big risk) So, were the Bama faithful correct when they said wait till the Saban talent was gone? Im not sure yet but its starting to look that way. I know its hard to win NCs year after year but I feel LSU should at least compete in the SEC sorry M State and cocks dont count. This does not look like a USC team or a OU or UT or a UF team that goes through a reloading year after a NC. The way CLM handled the QB situation LSU will have worse problems next season while UF will be just as good as they are now and Bama will be better. With that said... Is This year the beginning of the True CLM era? Please no flames im not in the mood. Im asking serious questions
The cupboard is bare. We've been out of the top 50 in recruiting the past 3 years. We're headed for 0-12. Hey wait a minute, that's total bullshyt! LSU will come back with a vengeance in 09. I hate to be our opponents next season.
Let's see how the season winds up. We lost a number of players, our DC, and Perilloux, whether you want to hear it or not, left us in a tough position. We are starting a redshirt freshman who wasn't going to play much with Perilloux at the helm and who was then splitting time with Hatch until he had his possible season ending injury. Lee is thrown to the fire and I'm not sure a true freshman would have done much better. I'd like to see Jefferson next week, but I'm not sure we would have benefited seeing him today. If we can win out in the regular season, I think Miles is an exceptional coach. If not, the doubts I had when Miles started here will begin to haunt me again.
Who will be the QB that leads us to the SEC championship? How many other Srs. will LSU be losing. (LSU will still have a freshman QB next year.)
We are one QB from have a 1 loss season to the eventual MNC. That QB is at a 1-AA school where he belongs. Stuff happens. Get over it. We just brought the #1 team to OT with NO QB. Sheesh.
Let the season play itself out. We knew we wouldn't be as good this year; no need to rehash what has been said frequently (loss of players on both sides of the ball, etc.). The major issue is the QB play, and I have faith that CLM will do what has to be done. I don't think we should be comparing CLM to DiNardo and Curly Hallman just yet... :geauxtige
What are you talking about? I know the Gawga and Florida games were horrible, but didn't we just take the #1 team in the nation to overtime before our redshirt freshman QB blew it? We are one decent QB away from being a contender.
