I'm not into predictions, but I would be disappointed with 7-5. We had a lot of underclassmen get a lot of playing time this year. I think the Chief will have us ready on D. I wish I had the same confidence in our 2013 offense.

It may be his best offense ever based on the players, when you add-in the "coaching" you doom them to being average at best.

    false.

we won time of possession in every game down the stretch (except A&M, who had the ball 20 seconds more than we did).

Clemson was the 1st game where we were completely dominated in ToP.

I don't think you are going to find many LSU fans that are "basking in the glow" of that game last Jan. In 2007 they had EVERY star and moon align on the last week of the season
or it would have never happened. Remember who we lost to that year.................that fact WILL NEVER change.

You're right, of course, but my post had very sarcastic overtones. Sometimes that doesn't come through when writing, so I wanted to make sure I clarified that.

Yep. My thoughts are - Remember that year when we coulda, shoulda, woulda, had the best team in the history of NCAA football (based on the number of top 10 teams we beat), but poor preparation and an even poor-er game plan caused us a shot at true greatness.

I'm convinced that you're part of the coaching staff, since you find no fault with them at all for anything.

On a positive note, maybe collective expectations will be aligned with reality next year. The last several years they have been silly!

And the beat goes on. The defense will be fine. It's time for guys like Freak and Rasco to shine. Ego is ready. Danielle Hunter is going to be dangerous. The linebackers are loaded. And we're recruiting well. The two Jalens should be improved, and if not, someone else will step in. I'm optimistic about Corey Thompson. This may not be 2010 and 2011 defense, but it sure as hell won't be a 2008 defense. We freaked after Peterson, Nevis, and Sheppherd left (among others), but as it turned out, the 2011-12 defense was even better. We are a factory now. And production is up folks.
