Whatever dude...you seem pretty happy on wanting to blame the coaches regardless of what happened...No point in trying to have an intelligent conversation with you.
My question then is how much more talent do you need to win an NC? I'm not sure with the team we have that it gets much better than this.
I blame this loss on the coaches, not the players. The players played their hearts out. The coaches did not put the players in a position to win. Every week Miles said he would fix the mistakes yet they kept making them. For example, the Doucet penalty that negated the TD. It seems every week we get that same penalty called on us. And it wasn't a freshman it was called on, it was Doucet for crying out loud. So are they practicing that every week? Why can't the coaches get that it's illegal?
On 4th. and 10 in overtime I was screaming for Pellini to send more than 4 guys after Dick. On the Tiger's 2 point try, Arkansas sent 6 or 7 guys, and took away any time Flynn had. There's the game right there.

This senior class has had more wins than any in school history. That takes mega talent. Alas, if they don't win the SECCG, they will not have any hardware to show for it.
I agree same as pass interference on defense how many times this year have the corners been called for it? It is week 12 still getting the same penalties for lining up in wrong formations although today was much better on penalties the ones we did get though really hurt us.
That was the backbreaker right there, letting them convert that 4th and 10. What could have been... :geauxtige
On an individual basis, this is the most talented CFB team I have ever seen. I'm basing this on next level talent. They have weaknesses at key positions that affect the flow of the game, along with below average coaches. The gameplans are so inconsistent that it eliminates rythm. And it seems a guy or two has a subpar performance every game. It's always someone different. I can't think of a game where everyone has played balls out at the same time, but our staff does not adjust and make the substitutions to take advantage. Other than Luke Sanders, our entire defense will be on NFL rosters, yet we play this relaxed bend but don't break defense, that is completely opposite of their stregths. It's pretty much unexplainable why the gameplans are so hard for our coaches to come up with. We have more weapons that the Navy Seals, and seem to forget about half of them at times. When the game and the national championship was on the line, we put the game in the hands of our least elite player. Makes no sense to me. Our best pure back was sitting on the sidelines with a fresh pair of legs, there is no way in hell they would have caught Scott on a toss on that last play. They had the middle plugged, but were worn down.
